CNC Router Automatic Processing

Automatic processing refers to how the system processes system files and the files in the USB flash disk in terms of instructions (this is also called file processing). http://am.co.za/ All the parameters of the machine tool and the system should be set correctly before automatic processing starts.

Load File

Press the Entering Menu Page Key on CNC Router Panel button to enter the menu page → press the Key Pause/Suspend/Up on CNC Router Panel and Down Direction Key on CNC Router Panel buttons to select "Local Files" or "USB Files" → http://am.co.za/ press the Key OK/Confirmation on CNC Router Panel button to enter the corresponding file list interface → now press the Key OK/Confirmation on CNC Router Panel button to select the processing file to be machined → press to load the selected file.

Confirm Workpiece Origin

The workpiece origin is the origin of the workpiece coordinate system (X, Y, Z) in the processing program. http://am.co.za/ The actual position of the workpiece origin should be confirmed before processing.

Manually move X and Y axes to the desired origin position, and then press Backing to Origin Key on CNC Router Panel for zero clearing. http://am.co.za/ Thus, the workpiece origin along X and Y axes is now confirmed.

The workpiece origin along Z axis can be set in two ways:

  1. Method one is the same as that to set the workpiece origin along X and Y axes. Manually move Z axis to the desired origin position. http://am.co.za/ And then press Shift/Auxiliary Key on CNC Router PanelBacking to Origin Key on CNC Router Panel for zero clearing. http://am.co.za/ Thus, the workpiece origin along Z axis is now set.
  2. Method two takes advantages of the tool presetting function ( press Shift/Auxiliary Key on CNC Router PanelKey 0/Speed Switchover on CNC Router Panel ). http://am.co.za/ After the tool presetting has finished, the coordinate of Z axis is the workpiece origin along Z axis.

Start Processing

Press the start button Start Key on CNC Router Panel to start automatic machining in the processing page. http://am.co.za/ Prompts like feed rate override and feed rate are scrolled on the screen during file processing.

Adjustment During Automatic Processing

Feed Rate Override Adjustment

Feed rate override can be adjusted by pressing Key 7/Increase of Feedrate Override on CNC Router Panel or Key 1/Decrease of Feedrate Override on CNC Router Panel during file processing. Note that the feed rate changes with the feed rate override. http://am.co.za/ The relation between the actual feed rate and feed rate override is as follows:

Actual Feed Rate = Feed Rate × Feed Rate Override http://am.co.za/

The smallest unit of feed rate override is 0.1. Namely, override increases or decreases by 0.1 after each press of Key 7/Increase of Feedrate Override on CNC Router Panel or Key 1/Decrease of Feedrate Override on CNC Router Panel ; http://am.co.za/ at the same time, the screen displays the feed rate override increases or decreases by 10(%). http://am.co.za/ The range of the feed rate override is 0.0 ~ 1.2. In addition, the display of the feed rate value changes with the feed rate override.

Spindle Speed Adjustment

Press Shift/Auxiliary Key on CNC Router PanelKey 7/Increase of Feedrate Override on CNC Router Panel or Shift/Auxiliary Key on CNC Router PanelKey 1/Decrease of Feedrate Override on CNC Router Panelto adjust the spindle speed, which is divided into 8 gears from S0 ~ S7 with speed increasing sequentially.

Suspend Processing and Jiggle

Suspend processing by pressing Key Pause/Suspend/Up on CNC Router Panel during processing, running status at the top right corner of the screen displaying "Pause"; at the same time, the machine tool stops. http://am.co.za/ As for spindle, whether it stops or not is decided by the setting of parameter "SOff at Pause", see Spindle Stop Option for details. http://am.co.za/ Whether spindle stops or not, at this time, the three axes can be jiggled, and the system default state is "Stepping" mode. http://am.co.za/ Each press of a direction button will make the corresponding axis move a specified step.

Continue Processing After Pause

When the system is in the state of pause, pressing the start button Start Key on CNC Router Panel will continue processing from the pause position, with the running status at the top right corner of the screen changing from "Pause" to "Run". Once you have altered the status to run, the machine tool will immediately start machining.

Software Limit Treatment

Software limit occurs when a processing axis exceeds the setting of "Machine Stroke" during processing, and the system will display a limit dialog box as shown below.

Press Key OK/Confirmation on CNC Router Panel or Key ESC/Stop/Cancellation on CNC Router Panel to exit from this warning dialog box and enter the processing page. Then manually move the axis reaching software limit towards the reverse direction to release the limit. http://am.co.za/ After software limit occurs, the system prohibits the limited axis from moving towards the limit direction.

Hardware Limit Treatment

The system detects hardware limits periodically under the main interface. http://am.co.za/ When a hardware limit occurs, its prompt dialog is as shown below.

At this time, press the Key OK/Confirmation on CNC Router Panel button to make the system return to the main interface under "Jog" mode, with "Limit Rls." displayed at its bottom right corner, as shown below. http://am.co.za/ Or you can press the Key ESC/Stop/Cancellation on CNC Router Panel button to directly revert back to the main interface under "Jog" mode.

Move the machine tool away from the limit position ( "Limit Rls." disappearing http://am.co.za/), the prompt interface of limit release will revert back to the normal main interface.
